Connor Saunders’ life was taken on the 14th of April 2012 after an unprovoked attack in Rottingdean, he had just turned 19 on the 25th March. It was just one punch that took our Connor’s life. Connor was one of a kind – the best kind. He never had a bad word to say about anyone and no-one had a bad word to say about him! That is such an achievement at such a tender age! He was kind, gentle, caring, thoughtful, funny, generous, hardworking, passionate, sporty, loving and beautiful person inside and out – The list could go on.

Connor’s Family have set up a charity to keep his legacy alive! The Connor Saunders Foundation (Registered Charity No. 1148677) supports three wonderful causes that are close to Connor’s heart:

· Supplying local football clubs with the lifesaving equipment Defibrillators.

· Providing football coaching in schools for disabled and un-privileged children.

· Raising awareness and donating to organisations that help with Organ Donation and Organ Transportation.

Connor signed up to be an organ donor when he was 16 and never told anyone, that was Connor all over he did amazing incredible things in life and never wanted praise. We found this out when we were by his hospital bedside that horrific day, Connor has saved 6 lives so far and hundreds have signed up as a result of that. Connor loved life and life loved Connor! Connor’s life was taken by one punch, we urge people to be aware of the danger of a fist. Think before you hit out. One punch can kill! Every action has a consequence!
